Richard Arnold - Sculpture

Richard Arnold began making sculpture in the mid 90s.

He has had his work purchased by the Australia Federal governments ArtBank art leasing program, and features in several prominent art collections.

In 2005 he won a design competition for a public art build in the Bird On Hand winery, however due to the onset of the Great Financial Crisis, this project was never realised.

In 2008 his career took a new direction with forays into the digital world, including 3D design, programming, and app development. He designed video FX software for the development of video art and ventured into AI video production before access to Large Language Models was available.

2026 has seen him re-emerge into the world of physical sculpture with the development of several streams of long planned works.

Originally from Adelaide, Australia, he has been based in Vienna, Austria since 2009.
